About ZWS Foundation
The ZWS Foundation was established to honor the memory of three extraordinary men who profoundly influenced the life of our founder, Tracey: Lane Zastrow, JD Walsh, and Mark Scheffler. Inspired by their legacy of compassion, resilience, and community service, the foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia and aging.
At ZWS Foundation, we are committed to advancing three core initiatives by funding critical programs and resources:
Supporting Dementia Care and Missing Persons Efforts: We fund crucial resources and initiatives that assist families navigating the challenges of dementia. This includes support for the National Senior Missing Persons Resource, which serves as a vital tool for families during critical moments.
Promoting Caregiver Education and Resources: We believe that caregivers are the unsung heroes in the fight against dementia. Our foundation funds educational programs and practical tools designed to empower caregivers, enabling them to provide the best possible care for their loved ones.
Sustaining First Responder Senior Care: Recognizing the essential role of first responders in senior care, we have established a fund to support specialized training and resources. This ensures that first responders are well-equipped to handle the unique challenges that come with caring for the aging population.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ZWS Foundation is unwavering in its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our aging community. We believe that aging is not just about growing older, but about living life to the fullest, with dignity and purpose.
Through our collaborations with esteemed organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and hospice care providers, we work tirelessly to support caregivers, families, and communities. Our mission goes beyond raising awareness; we are dedicated to taking action by funding the essential resources, education, and support where it’s needed most.
