Lane Earl Zastrow

Lane Earl Zastrow, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, left an indelible mark on the world of music and the lives of those who knew him. From an early age, Lane’s passion for music was evident as he mastered the accordion by age five and later the oboe. His talent led him to perform with the Milwaukee Symphony and even entertain three U.S. presidents. His contributions to the music industry were significant, having worked with leading companies like Chicago Musical Instruments (CMI), Gibson Guitars, and Heritage Guitars, where he held roles such as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Lane’s career was marked by his ability to inspire and lead, especially in the guitar manufacturing industry. He was instrumental in the success of these companies, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and excellence. His work extended beyond his professional achievements, as Lane was also a devoted family man, married to Suzanne Lucchesi for 55 years, with whom he celebrated many cherished anniversaries in Hawaii.

James Dow “JD” Walsh was a man defined by his service, leadership, and dedication. A proud South Carolinian, JD’s life was marked by his commitment to his country, serving 27 years in the South Carolina National Guard, where he rose to the rank of Colonel. His career was built on a foundation of continuous learning and adaptation, from his early education to his roles at The Torrington Company and Ingersoll Rand. JD’s legacy lives on through his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Kennedy, and Zachary Walsh, who carry forward the values he embodied: integrity, resilience, and a love for community.
